Sonja Gonzalez is the Director of Operations at our West Des Moines office. Sonja oversees all daily operations of the life insurance department, annuity department and securities department.

Sonja has been Central Financial Group since 1991 and has over 23 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Sonja currently serves on the Board of Directors for National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, is a member of the Boys and Girls Club of America and also a member of the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce.

Sonja and her husband, Jesse, reside in Clive, IA and have one daughter. Sonja’s outside interests include family, golf, gardening, boating, running and volunteering. Sonja is a huge advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness and devotes much of her free time and energy towards finding a cure. Sonja and her husband are also huge football fans and are season tickets holders for the Kansas City Chiefs.
